Size difference is a really important thing to me too. My character is a jaguar and my boyfriend is a wolf-liger hybrid so I definitely try to stick to accurate sizing.

For about a few years now I've started using real photo refs and it is ridiculous how much I have learned about each animal structurally. I did a skunk study page at some point haha

When I do the trade I want it to be perfect!

But should you present a rear(ish) view, please avoid the bow-legged bear syndrome, where they end up with some huge, nondescript torso blob between their knees as 95% of FA artists and most game modelers seem to think they have. Little risk of that based on what I see above, but I felt the need to be preemptive.

Photographs are referenced when I am studying new species. Maybe I need to draw a bear booty just for the sake of it haha
