I discovered these clayboard panels in the bottom of my Bin O' Supplies and figured, what the hey, they're smallish (4x6) and that's a good size to experiment with!
Well. Enter experiment 1. I asked a friend for a rare species to draw (because he has this huuuge encyclopedia of mammals that I covet and will steal from him one day) and one of the suggestions he gave me was a numbat. I had -no- idea what a numbat was.
Apparently, they're really cute little critters! I'm not completely happy with how his right hind foot came out, because I'm a nitpicky wench and always find fault with my own work. I will paint this little guy, hopefully sooner rather than later.
