Chino Air Museum has also hosted events featuring WWII Re-enactors who specialize in ground based vehicles such as tanks and trucks, plus set up displays with weaponry used during that conflict. There was even an M-4 Sherman on display, plus a couple 1930s era Plymouth "General's staff cars", and several .50 caliber machine gun nests "defending the parameter." Large tents were set up to house some displays to show how soldiers lived and worked at that time, but most were crowded with the Re-enactors seeking shelter from the 90 Degree f and climbing heat.
