A bit further down the linr were two B-25s nose to nose, and I thought it'd make a cool picture. If anything, the image best shows the scope of the event, and of course the thickening crowds.
There were also all sorts of other things to see along both sides of the show, including custom cars, motorcycles, trucks and military displays. The Vendors were out in force too, selling everything from cold bottled water to almost every Aviation Themed collectible imaginable.

AUGH! Now that's a really cool thing getting replaced by another good thing in a way. Sad to read of the old airport's demise, to be replaced by a football venue and a Cabela's Sporting goods. To me it would be like when they tore down the big Lockheed factory in Burbank and replaced it with a shopping mall. There were some giant machine tools like a 12 foot hydraulic press that they had to leave in situ while the factory walls were torn down around them. To see that machine take on a somewhat rounded, "Organic" look after all the debris fell on it signified the end of an industrial era for me.
