Wow, how does a project like this even come to action? Whose idea was it and is either party profiting?

At the moment it was my idea. It was spawned from my desire to couple my experience in the anime industry with my Youtube channel. But when the studio I hired to do the anime clips put them all together and showed me a promo trailer version, I decided to seriously pursue making a full series. If it gets picked up, the studio gets the work and I'll hopefully get a salary for working on it, and some backend for the merchandise. But it will be highly rewarding to see it come to fruition. If nothing else, there's going to be original Sherbert anime already.

Wow. Ambitious. I'd never even considered trying the possibility of an individual trying to get an anime made. I hope you do well! Not only will it mean there's a cool furry anime to watch but it might just open the doors for others :P
