He isnt a MP dog he is a service dog for my medical conditions and disabilities. Hes great and helps me out a lot. Without him I almost cant leave my house alone. Sadly my chain of command wont let him be with me working.

As for my leg the army hospital here at Fort Bragg says its not dammaged enough for surgery and that its not cost effective to the army to fix it so im being medical discharged out and have to have the Vetreans Admin pick up the tab to repair it.

Ah my mistake, still an awesome dog though. That is sad that they won't let him work with you. I hope that they'll at least give you a painless discharge and not run you around loops and screw up your paperwork. I know the Army doesn't think it's bad, but how's the recovery going to look?

Yeah same boat here after coming back to Bragg from Afghanistan, Shoulders is all tore the hell up, both knowws are screwsd and back injury being sent airport from a ECP during enemy contact. and on te reciving ed of some IEDs

I love seeing soldiers with service dogs, they're such important creatures. My husband and I are both active duty and I am currently training my dog to be a PTSD service dog.

cool. just remember the armed forces does not recognize the Americans with disabilities act ( ADA ) that's why when I was enlisted my chain of command threatened to have me jailed and my wife jailed so I cold not have my service dog with me.
