Custom OOAK Music Box
I corcheted this 15cm tall lion for a close family friend who is going to become a mother in the next few days (her due date is the 11th). It has a music box in his tummy which plays Mozart's "The little night music" and will hopefully help her to sooth her little baby girl to sleep and sweeten her dreams.

personally I think it isn't very hard, as long as you follow the patterns and know the techniques you need to know like how to chain crochets; create single crochets, slip stitches; increase and decrease your stitches.
Most "easy" patterns use those techniques only, the more complex might require other techniques too, but there are quite a lot of good photo or video tutorials on the internet, I learned most of what I can do from either my mother (who taught me the basic skill) or tutorials and have started to create my own variations to pre-made patterns or designing simple patterns myself.
