OH YESSS!!! I FREAKIN' LOVED CRIMSON SKIES!! This is absolutely beautiful!!!!!

Very fond of those memories. Loved that game and always had hopes for a remake. I enjoyed the idea of that alternate timeline where zeppelins and Airships ruled the skies and air crafts looked so totally different. I have seen a video on YT where someone made a model of the P-21J and it actually behaved well in flight.

Oh yes same here! I always hoped one day they would remake it with better graphics and maybe more planes! That timeline too always fascinated me as well and I'm surprised the developers didn't go off of it more in creating more games like it. And that's freakin' cool! I would bet that it would! Good to meet another fan of the Crimson Skies games!

Game has not been this popular back then and after that the whole air craft game series died down.

Well... Never liked jet planes much. I think i am one of the persons 2ho are smitten by the 30s to 50s by the legend of Greg Boington and his Black Sheeps as w3ll as the propeller driven aircrafts. The most played ai4 fighter game was Janes World War II Fighters, which was more a sim then a shoot em up arcade game.

The original one of the 2 was also my first Flight Sim game. Almost like a predecessor to, say, the Ace Combat series.

Anyone still play? the tabletop or the comp game? was there ever an rpg put out?

I don't and back then I was not into RP or for that matter using the interwebs yet. Thus I wouldn't know if there is any RPG. But for the sake of it YES hook me up to a setting in that kind of world. I'd RP in it. As for anyone playing it? I doubt it. Wish there was a remake of the game

Gotta love this plane. I remember playing the original Xbox version of CS and I absolutely loved using it.

IKR? I recently played the PC version, it's amazing how customizable the planes are in that. High Road to Revenge will always be my favourite Crimson Skies though.

Exactly while I'm doing said remake. xD
However, there is an Xbox emulator that plays High Road to Revenge fairly well (only a few shader issues, mainly the plane looking chrome and that sort of stuff) and rare FPS issues..I usually just play that.

Crimson Skies High Road for Revenge is on the OG XBOX. I have it and never let it go.

Reminds me of the XP-56 in Secret Weapons over Normandy; another game and another
canard design. More interesting is the pinup Vixen.
