And this is the moment you know you truly love each other. It's heart wrenching to see Dee so scared and upset, and yet at the same time, it's a beautiful moment and you description just makes it even better. I love that Kat was willing to drop everything, and to shoulder her way through even her own family to get to the one she loves. And I love that there's only a simple, black background for this piece. It really does fit the idea of the rest of the world fading away and, for now, the fact that nothing else in the whole world mattes to them except each other.

I'm just in love with these two. You have a lot of awesome characters, and you know how much I adore each one of them. But I think you really do have something very special with these two.

Between your exquisite story-telling and Salty's wonderful art, every picture of these two to date has been so incredibly powerful. I'm glad to know that my interpretation of this one is right on the money!

This has never happened to me before, so yeah, it is a rare and groovy thing for me! And I'm loving it all the way. I just hope I can continue to do justice to Dee and Kat as things progress.

I really hope so. I keep coming up with alternate ideas and am sometimes unsure what direction to take. Time will tell.

Seriously, though, I love it. It's so sad to see Dee upset like that, but the way Kat came running to comfort her without regard for anything else is so touching. I like Kat from the first picture you posted of her, but since you started this series with her and Dee I've really come to admire her a great deal. She's a very remarkable young lady, and Dee is so lucky to have a lady like her in her life.

I think it's sweet that Kat was researching lycanthropy just beforehand as well. It's nice to see she's willing to take responsibility for her actions, even if they were a totally innocent mistake, and that she wants to help Dee out like that. What a wonderful couple they are, and what a wonderful story. However far you decide to go with this, I'm hooked until the end!

I don't know why not? I do it frequently, myself. She's a hard act to follow since she says all the good things about a picture and story and doesn't leave you much room to add anything new.

I don't know what it is about Kat, ut she's been special to me right from the first also. Dee and I are both lucky to have her to grace our lives. (see what I did there? *evil bunny giggle*)

Ah, you noticed that about Kat researching lycanthropy. She'd noticed the pentagram too but wanted to find out more before bringing it up with Dee. But Molly and Liane prematurely spilled the beans. Kat wouldn't have left Dee alone with them if she'd any idea they would have done so. Now the damage is done and Kat will do her best to help Dee no matter what it takes.

It's funny how some characters can just grab you like that. I never expected Grace to be as important to me as she is. Or even Jen for that matter. And here they are, both my favorites. Maybe someday I'll manage to do something half as cool, story-wise with them as you have with Dee and Kat.

Aw, well it's a shame Molly and Liane let the cat, or wolf, out of the bag early. But I know they didn't mean any harm, and it was still sweet of Kat to try to research things first to see if she couldn't break things to Dee more easily. She's a wonderful girl.

Yep, it's something I never was expecting to happen to me and WHAM! they up and grabbed me.
One of these times inspiration will hit you. And it may not even be with Grace or Jen, but with a character you haven't even created yet. But when it does, there won't be any turning back or denying it.

Yes, I'm sure they didn't expect the reaction they got, but they should have thought it through a bit before opening their mouths like that. Though quite without meaning to, they've managed to bring Dee and Kat even closer than before, and it is out in the open. so some good has come of it.

She better! But yeah, I agree. Dee took being changed into a girl the first time right in stride, so we know she's got a strong personality, and can handle about anything thrown at her. Temporary setbacks aren't a big thing....right?

Dee doesn't necessarily have the same outlook you do. She's not used to or ready for these sudden changes and revelations. I don't think her reaction is odd at all.

Don't worry about it. Sometimes you gotta learn the hard way. Dee is going through some frightening changes, but she'll weather them. She's a strong kid.

Indeed. And a ladies wardrobe is not cheap! We will start with undergarments first and then some tops and skirts that can be mixed an matched.
Maybe some shorts too and something for the colder months. That should be a good start until she can get more acquainted with herself.
