Oh, well, yeah, most domesticated cats do hate water. Heh, I work in a vet clinic, and I dread anytime I actually have to give a feline a bath there 'cause I know it's going to be an uphill battle. XD

Lol. Now that i could imagine. I always wanted to work for a vet, but i never applied myself for it. Prolly a good thing bc the 1st animal to scratch me would prolly get scratched back. lol

Yeah, you're uh...too "cute" to do what I do (no offense meant XD). I've been working there almost two years. Sometimes I'll go a week or so without any problems, and other times I'll get snagged by cat or dog claws daily when we're holding them down for trims or whatever else we're doing for them. It's just one of those unavoidable aspects to the job. Aww well, at least they haven't gotten my face yet. XD

I took my parents chihuahua to get his shots and i had to hold him still, thought it would be easy enough, sadly, 3 tries later the little brat didn't jump over my shoulder and finally let her stick him.

You have more patience than i do, that is for certain.

Heh, yeah. But honestly? Most of the time it's more annoying dealiing with some of the OWNERS than the pets themselves. You get these mental midgets who don't socialize their pets at all then bring them into the clinic -- sometimes not even on a leash -- then act 'surprised' when little Fluffy tries to bite someone's face off or freaks out with all the other people and pets in the lobby. "Oooooh, but he never acts that way at home!" Drrrrr! >_>

Or you get the people who act over-protective; they won't even let you take their dog out of their view long enough to get a fecal sample or whatever, or they'll hit you with 20 questions when you're just trying to trim their nails or remove their sutures. >=E

But, I digress. It's late, and I'm rambling. XD

Lol. Yeah, i completely understand. I have always worked in retail and i have just about the same problems just in different contexts. (mostly with children which i find to be a different version of animals in their own rights) I am heading to bed myself, i hope you have a great week!
