I have been wanting to do this ever since we roleplayed on the Misfit Pride forum.
It's my tigress, Lesley, and her adopted son, Aun (© to Rurouna ).
Continuing to snuffle, Aun rubbed one of his black and white paws against his damp pink nose, his cheeks were stained grey and his crimson eyes were puffy and foggy from the seemingly constant stream of tears that didn't cease from pouring down from the little cubs eyes. He mewed softly to himself, thinking that his calls had been in vain... If she really was dead... Then what would him sitting there crying and sniffling accomplish?
He pushed himself to his paws, his ears folded back against his head and his tail held low, he had believed that once again he had lost a family, and this time believed it would be his last. He was about to swivel on a paw and make his way towards the hyena territory or the badlands... or even the humans in an effort to end it all... But suddenly... a familiar scent caught his attention. Though his nose was still stuffy, and he still bared the obvious signs of crying his little eyes out... That scent still caught his attention.. It was like a light in the storm! "Lesley...?" he stopped where he stood, his little body in shock. It was then he began to tremble, his ears lifted forward and his eyes scanned the grass for her stripped pelt. "Lesley!" He called out before then bounding forward in an attempt to follow where the wind had brought the scent.
"LESLEEEEYYY!!" He cried, his paws outstretched as he hurried in her direction.
The sound of a familiar voice became more apparant now and slowly she lifted her head.
It wasn't untill she saw the black and white blur, that she knew who it was. Immediately her face lit up, her maw in a broad happy smile. 'Aun!!!' She bounded over to him and everything seemed to go in slow motion. His face, his run towards her.
She grabbed him in a big hug and accidently rolled over. Lying she held on to him, licking and kissing the little cub all over. 'Oh my little one,' she cried, happy tears this time. 'My son.'
