Definitely one of my more intricate projects. The name is inspired by my favorite meteorological phenomena, the Sun Dog. Finding a backing for this mask was particularly interesting since it is trimmed entirely in beads so I needed a fabric that didn't fray when cut. I eventually found ultra suede.
The mask is made with multiple layers of leather stitched with wire and trimmed with woven size 11 beads. It is backed with ultra suede.
