"Yeek! Stop following me! Would you... go away!?"
The thing moved to block him, lowering its head in a challenging way. One of its imposing hooves pawed at the ground as the thing huffed and snorted, launching a gooey wad of something at the hare.
"Aargh! Get it off!" he shouted, tugging at the blob as it formed itself into a heavy-looking ring that dangled from his nose. His eyes narrow as he can feel his blood beginning to boil. How DARE that bull think he could do this to him!
The thing frets and stomps closer. Instead of retreating, Sirocco just lowers his head right back, balling his hands into fists. Maybe he hadn't noticed the way that goo was forcing his fingers to stick together, becoming three-fingered hoof-hands.
"You're not gonna bully ME around!" he snarls and stamps his hoov- feet on the ground. He grabs the beast by his prongs, a sudden and irrepressible rage tightening his focus more and more on the beast. It snorts and grunts, the hare grunting and moo'ing back as tunnel vision keeps him from noticing the goo climbing up his legs - slithering into his ears and amplifying those feeling of rage and unstoppable power...
They say you have to grab life by the horns. Guess he'll be finding that out soon enough!!
Awesome weekend commission from LilChu! Man, I just cannot get over how cool his colors and design are! When I wrote up the description, it was a little bit different from the result. I was a little worried, but the more I looked at it, the more brilliant I thought it was! The scene is just set up with so much dynamic tension. My hare would definitely be the type to resist some monster trying to take over, and this totally aligns to his personality!
One of those cases where the artist's idea comes out better than the commissioner had intended! XD
