While the Breeders of Clan Skryre work spaced throughout the year, once several litters happened to coincide in their timing, and these litters all happened to be unusually large. Getting the new young male Skaven sorted out and filtered into their roles and training in preparation for their lives as slaves and soldiers was a hectic mess with so many born at once; and while females are almost always relegated to Breeders, fit only to replenish the Clan's numbers from their constant wars and infighting, one wound up being overlooked in the chaos. Lost in the crowd, she was taken with the rest of the blackfurs to be trained as a warrior, black fur being a sign in their culture of a natural killer. She drew attention to herself, however, when the time came for alchemy training, and she showed prodigious talent at crafting and throwing the poison gas bombs of Clan Skryre's famous mercenaries. The overseers noticed her sex for the first time... but between her demonstrated skill, the time invested in training, and the promise of her fur color, they decided that it would be a waste to dump her in with the Breeders now, and let her proceed into the ranks of the Poison Wind Globadiers. Of course, she's not entirely exempt from breeding duties, but she doesn't let that get in the way of her fun.

A bunch of my friends and I are biiiiig fans of Warhammer stuff. Personally, I tend more toward Warhammer 40k, but we all enjoyed the heck out of Vermintide way back when. So when Vermintide 2 came out, we absolutely got in on it. And when inspiration struck Kairyu-shin and he started making up a Skaven character, I helped out brainstorming with him, and accidentally hit on a really good character concept of my own!
