Sooooo, a buddy of mine introduced me to an amazing DnD podcast called The Adventure Zone (hosted by the McElroy brothers + their dad), and while I did finish the campaign today I got so many ideas for fanart. And since I'm currently still in that art block and experimenting with watercolors you'll likely (hopefully) just get spammed with TAZ fanart from me for a while. Sadly none of the humanoid characters unless I feel brave enough to try drawing them cause, as you know, I still feel sucky about my human/humanoid skills.
But if I manage I'm so drawing Magic Brian and no one can stop me.
Fun thing about this drawing was that I practiced for it, looking up galaxy painting tutorials, and making a test sheet with two galaxies and a few jellyfish. And then when I finally took on the project.... I completely forgot everything I learned and things were going so bad I thought I was gonna lose it. But in the end it actually turned out quite decent and I think it is also my best galaxy so far. Just a shame the stars are so messy, but it's always a risk with the toothbrush splatter technique.

As for the drawing itself, it is the krrrrrrrt from TAZ, the main cast encounter it in zzzzprr where they find out that rrrzzzpzzz and the zzzzazrr have been trying to sssszzztr. So of course our brave heroes pzztzzz to krrrzzzt. And it's a friggin awesome adventure.

If you want to get an idea of what the podcast is like, this fan made live action act out of one of the scenes will give you a pretty good idea (it's quite early into the campaign, so no big spoilers). At least for general character interaction, derp levels, and quality content.
