Japanese Platformer Octive
Gimmick is a non-US platformer by Sunsoft. Very action platformer at heart but with a ton of quirky features, most importanly this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qgoGV1TB6k and little shapely enemies that don't just exist in huge numbers to be smacked aside by the "hero." Most seem to have a life and agenda all their own and may stare you down before acting.
