It's from Garrison Kelilorr's "Lake Wobegon" radio broadcasts, which tell of life in the mostly Nor-wee-yun Lutheran city of Lake Wobegon. Ever tried ludefesk?

I have tried ludefisk! =D and I must find these broadcasts.

Minnesota Public Radio would carry them in the state and NPR broadcasts to the rest of the country. There was a movie produced last year and Kelilorr has written novelizations and sidestories about Lake Wobegon.

Breaking up the monologue stories about Lake Wobegon are perfomances by folk musicians and gospel choirs, as well as musical ads for the fake businesses in the city. It's a good radio variety show and pretty informative about life in Minnesota.
