No fancy story with this one, just an explanation!For a while now I've been wanting to upgrade and improve my 'sona,especially to future-proof things so that I don't need to keep getting a new reference every other yearaccording to the dynamacy that he possessed in regards to myself.In terms of future-proofing I've decided to bulk my blue wolfy self up a bit, to better match what I'd eventually want to achieve IRLas well as the various body modifications and piercings I hope to get in the future, too!As for the rest I was getting tired of having a "generic doggo" fur pattern,since my current fur pattern was thought up when I was still a closeted teenage furry,and I want to go for something a bit more "natural wolf."I'm also swapping some colors around, though not outright changing them, merely a bit of repositioningto make things a bit less muddled and more easy to distinguish various attributes.Finally, I'm also going to be introducing a few new colors, too, but more to come on that in the future!- - - - - - - - - -This concept sketch wouldn't've been possible without the amazing work of

I'm so, so grateful that she was willing to work and experiment with me on such a piece,especially since a lot of this was artistic freedom, especially the posing and fur pattern!PLEASE go check her out, you will NOT regret it!She's nothing but a pleasure to work with and has incredible work ethic.Speaking of concept, while there are a few things I don't plan on changing, much of this is NOT set in stone and is very much open to experimentation!And on top of that, and perhaps more importantly, JeanWoof has given her permission to make edits to play around with ideas!I'd love to hear any ideas you all have to offer in regards to character design and aesthetics!Please don't hesitate to comment or share your own creative thoughts,this concept stage is going to be a crucible of coalesced concepts so that I can pin down what I want my next proper character reference to look like.As always, even with a new look, that blue wolf is myself,

Thank you! When it comes to the piercings I'm thinking of adding just one more ring in the series in the left ear and moving the brow ring to the other side, but not much else besides that. There's a fine line with them from being tasteful and trashy.
As for the colors, the blues in particular have always been there in some way~! Still more than open to any ideas on just how to arrange them, too!
