Here is my rendition of a scene from the Aesop fable, The Tortoise and the Hare. This tortoise is slow, of course, which gives him time to see the reality of the situation. The hare is fast and doesn't even think of slowing down because he doesn't think he has any time. As a result, he will most likely rush things. This scene happens after the hare eats from the garden and is too full to run, so he decides to take a nap and kick off his running shoes because his feet are starting to ache. And we all know that no one likes it when they're sleeping on the job (or race, for that matter). And the tortoise knows this well. So what do you think will happen when the hare wakes up and sees the tortoise is almost ready to win?
