Hay peeps!

Sorry for the inactivity, I finally moved to my house, and I didn't have internet set up until this weekend. ^^;
Also, it turns out the internet company I chose also does home security, and I called during a promotion, so I got a home security system for just a few extra bucks a month! And it came with a camera that I can view anywhere on my phone! ^^

I've been running around like crazy, trying to get stuff set up for my home, gather materials, and trying to keep up with work and school to boot!
Oh yeah, and to top it off, I had to get eye surgery on last Monday. Remember the chicken incident? Well, my eye was STILL messed up from that, and decided to become so irritated that I went blind while driving down the freeway. O_o
Fortunately I managed to avoid crashing until I could see through my watery eyes, which felt like there was glass in it or something, so I went back to the doc to find that the abrasion on my eye had come back two or three times worse than before. So the doc did this procedure where he scraped the surface of my eyeball off with a scalpel, so it could hopefully heal correctly, so I won't have the abrasion return again... hopefully. I get the contact-bandage removed tomorrow, so here's hoping.

Anyway, I finally got some paint to repaint the walls of my bedrooms and music room! This shit is expensive! The paint alone was over $300! And then I spent another $380 on tools to paint with, (of course that included a $215 latter and a $40 door lever). Hopefully I can get my rooms painted this week or this weekend, so I can get the carpet replaced, and actually start moving my stuff in. (all I got now is an inflatable mattress on the floor, clothes in a basket, the fridge from my trailer, my coffee maker, toaster oven, and a couple chairs. I'm using my organ as a desk right now ^^; ).

The carpet is also gonna be insanely expensive! I looked for a while for a carpet I liked, but I did the math just now to get an estimated cost, and nearly had a heart attack. I got an estimated $2800 for carpet! (I was literally almost sick!). I mean yeah they'll install it for me, but holy shit! I think I'm gonna re-evaluate my choice in carpet, and aim for something a bit more affordable. I still need to build fences, install gates, paint, buy some appliances and do some other repairs! I guess I'll just have to sacrifice the luxurious carpet for something that will just get the job done. Hopefully I won't have to settle for crap carpet that feels like it's made out of foxtails (the plant), and will be something that can provide just enough comfort to be satasfactory. Seriously, some of the carpets at the store were just horrible feeling! (I can understand now why most renters are so anal about tenants having pets).

I guess I gotta remind myself, this is only my first house. I want to try to buy at least five before I retire, so I can live in one, rent out the rest, and hopefully make enough to live comfortably for my final few decades of life without having to work too much. I shouldn't pour too much money into this house.
I'm starting to think that game room may be a bit out of my reach... Who knows, I guess I'll just have to see what my finances look like next year?

Anywho, it'll probably still be a few weeks before I can really get to drawing again... Although I've been itchin pretty bad to draw some naughty pics... I may just brake down and have to do a doodle soon ;P
