The lower part of the Rentar Plaza complex is the Metro Mall which has a variety of stores that have come and gone over the years. Today's big draw is the chain BJ's Wholesale. The space it now occupies was once Pergament, a now defunct hardware chain, and Waldbaum's, a New York City based supermarket chain that went bankrupt in 2015.
