I colored this old thing, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1858576/ . Now it doesn't look so old. LOL. ^\/^.
What I like on this one is that I attempted to create an effect of subtle photo grain combined with another subtle texture that, with the background, makes it seem like a screen capture from the show itself. Of course it is not since, in the show, the shadow is cast elsewhere on the body. LOL.
The background was made with a gradient like the last one. Only, instead of the general texture that seemed more painting than sky, I instead added an additional layer of painted clouds that has been given and overlay effect while blended into the background.
For the body I did a general coloring like last and then duplicated twice. The first one on top was given an automatic tint and then blended into the other two by about 50 percent. The middle duplication layer was made black and white and then blended to the original at 25 percent. The result was a muted color effect that is both warm and cool in the colors while giving a sense of a screen capture.
The lines were simply filled with black and then given an average blur filter effect to soften the lines somewhat while dimming the extreme effects of the black lines while blending with the original unaltered lines in back of the new ones and the surrounded colors of the picture. ^\/^.

I hope to do one on D. Dan one day. It would be more official like, not like the ones I made earlier that are simple, short and Sunday comic funny. I also have in my head a cool anime that would have D. Dan in it. Too bad I severely lack the skills, time, money and equipment to do so. LOL. ^\/^.
