it's hard being an "in-between" kinda person when it comes to shapeshifting. You have to be decisive and Fell isn't, so pouting up in a tree during a fit of self-frustration is a GO. The exercise called for seamless shift between wolf and human. Fell doesn't like not having fur, but enjoys having other humanoid features, if a human were to see him, they'd probably think werewolf. The wolf has a really hard time focusing on a solid, flawless, human shape (esp when it comes to specific features) in the end a climb up a tree and a smoke to calm down.

Juniper is also a shapeshifter, and her shifting is flawless (save for a few of her personal preferences like hair on her fox shape) and it isn't easy for either of them to be dealing with their differences during training. Juniper has the patience of a god tho, so *shrugs* how else do you think she is able to shift so easily, fell.. come on.
