Koenma is the Prince of Spirit Realm and Botan is basically the Grim Reaper. They're from an anime from the 90's called Yu-Yu Hakusho.

If that does not excite you, then consider the fact that it's actually better than DBZ. It's more focused on fighting, like Dragonball was, instead of this energy blast stuff DBZ always relies on. Plus, the main characters do enploy energy attacks, but they're a last resort.
