I had the same feelings with Rolf Harris was convicted. It just feels disappointing

Oh man, I remember Picture pages so much. I remember almost sending away for that when I was a kid.

It's so sad to see this. It just makes you want to ask 'why'? Was it really worth it for throw away a career like that? Well, I guess there's nothing left to do but finally move on with life.

I honestly have to question that woman accusing him sense of timing. The poor man looks old, frail and belongs in an old folks home.

At the time these things allegedly happened (1980's and 1990's) Cosby was such a superstar that he was practically untouchable, and allegedly said that to many of the victims. "Don't bother telling anyone, you know how powerful I am in Hollywood, no one will believe you." It's why these things took so long to come to light. In fact, some of the cases WERE filed in the 90's and early 2000's but didn't get to the mainstream media until a different stand-up comedian started talking about them in 2013 or so.

I think Boozy Badger put it best. "Let's put this in perspective. Dr. Cliff Huxtable was a fictional character specifically written to be kindly, loving, innocent and pure. Bill Cosby is a man."

I too grew up with him, collected all of his albums even saw him live. I also remember the first Fat Albert special. And now this... such a let down.

In the same boat. I don't suffer fools either.. still, this is a blow. One of those untouchable positive figures for the African-American community. and he goes and just lets us all down. It's hard enough finding positive figures as it is.

When i first heard about the accusations against Bill i thought it was no different then the ones brought against Michael Jackson, lots of coverage but at some point its revealed to be false and it goes away, but to hear now bill's going to jail, truly a sad moment, not so much for the man, he did the crime, let him do what time he has left, but for the characters he leaves behind, Cliff Huxtable, Fat Albert, i grew up with these shows, now chances are that they'll never see the light of day on tv again cause of who made them, heck i still have my VHS recording of the Cosby show outtake special

you're telling me Bill Cosby passed away ?or are you saying he got convicted in that trial he's been involved in?apparently there's quite a few women from what I understand that he victimized.

I saw no proof of his guilt, yet he was strung up.

It's a good thing folks like Cosby are getting life sentences while innocent folks like OJ Simpson walk free.
