in-dig-na-tion
Noun: strong displeasure at something considered unjust, offensive, insulting, or base; righteous anger.
No story this time. A few people lately have, shall we say, gotten on my nerves. This is what came of it. So even as they would hold me back, I move forward instead. Enjoy the music, it's a different style than my usual fare.

that was very nice! so solly you feel irritated, but you channeled it into an inspring piece of music, that's the mark of a good artist :) imo, and a healthier and more productive way of handling things rather than spewing specifics out for everyone to gorge on :P

This has a degree of confidence in the playing that you don't normally have, I look forward to more of this confidence in your work. There's more passion and direction here too than I've heard in many of your older works, the composition has greater strength and the playing more clarity. I'm glad I had the free time to properly sit and listen to this.
oh, moo, I can definitely detect a hint of some of the old piano greats in this. Very powerful, very retro Olde English sounding to me. I bet Beethoven and Mozart and the like would be proud and inspired by this ]:8)
You should get pissed off more often, seems to be quite the inspiration ]X8D

I love this piece you did Flare. I posted once halfway through, once after listening to most of it, and once more after listening to most of it again, mostly as an excuse to listen to it over again. Angry music doesn't need to be loud. In fact, the . . . what to call it . . . the calmness pervading it speaks more of self-control. Anger and upset can be spoken through the eyes, and doesn't always have to be busted out in a fit. What I "hear" is someone dealing with the issue, rather than letting it control him. Anger is usually best dealt with when it isn't done in a storm of fury, and sometimes, all it does is burn up bridges that could otherwise be repaired. Some people are far too concerned about their desire to be angry about something, and far too little concerned about the eventual outcome. This is what the song makes me think of.
Wonderful work. And I agree with the other poster, I like the confidence here. But, if you can find the inspiration sometime, I'd like to hear this confidence in positive "notes" as well.

Personally, this sounds like music in the backround of a tea-house play...some old lady drops her tea cup with a curl of her lip and stands in...well...indignation and slaps the other smug woman in the face before storming off to another scene... of course, I'm rather fatigued, but this is the level of Indignation I'm getting from this.
Of course, my level indignation would be more of an explosion of insults and shades and read against someone who crosses me just right...
While you have expressed the song's aim, twas not much more than a small scuffle of elderly women.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it though. ~gives an apple~
