I am so excited to show this guy off to everyone. Please give a warm welcome to Rictar Rat!

This lovely ratty posed a bit of a challenge as I has to work on things I have never done before, namely making rodent feet and having a muzzle wide enough for a removable fan.

Head is a hand carved foam base built on a balaclava, eyes are following and the nose is silicone from TrishDobsonDesigns on Etsy (pssst they make great noses, go check em out!).

Bodysuit is plantigrade with some neat back markings, even though they don't show in this exact picture ( I'll upload one a little later of that view).

Feetpaws were an interesting venture. Most fursuits tend to be able to use traditional 4 toes for feet paws. But if you know anything about rodents you know they have pretty interesting shaped feet. So this unique set was made. They are outdoor bottoms built upon shoes. Toes are minky with the remainder of the foot being fur.

Tail is a nice long floor dragger. The ring markings are sewn into the tail. Attaches to any belt via two elastic loops.

Now these hand paws were something new as well. All other attempts at minky hand paws left me unsatisfied with how wrinkly the fabric gets as it doesn't have enough weight to hold shape on its own. I found a interesting way to line them to prevent most unsightly wrinkling now! As well the feature silicone pawpads from Stuffed Panda Studios.
