Rune. The third child of the Lunaran King. He is the cursed child. Born not to long after his sister, he bears a curse that was set upon his mother while he was still in the womb. Born as something akin to a vampire, he carries fangs and a gift for dark and unholy magic. Growing up, he meant no harm, but more than a few were accidentally harmed by his magics. When the king wanted to use his powers to fight the war, he was whisked away to live with Kyra in hiding. There he studied under Hallow and learned to control his dark magics. He's very lofty and carefree, and his often being scolded by his sister for his mischievous acts.

Because of this, Kyra and Rune are very close to each other.
