I'm actually pretty proud of how this one came out. Based on the end of Sonic Rush Adventure, after Sonic and Tails go back home. I just beat all 99 missions in the game and as a reward got Sonic's face carved into the side of the volcano. That and the 50-foot tall statue erected in his honor lead me to believe that SOMEONE must really like him a lot to authorize these massive public works.
