Real old pic from around 2001 when I first started doing digital coloring. One of my fave characters from my DnD days Carlos the Shadow Dancer making a daring escape from a couple of not so prepared Kobolds.

3.5 is better trust me...easier to understand and quickly do things...think of 4th like backstepping to like 2nd edition

i've always gone with the "furry kobolds" angle myself....but you've gotta wonder, what was going on on the cliff when they went over.

and for that matter, what the rope's tied to. good stuff, interesting to see where and how you improved since then too..

D&D actually has always had them reptiles....it's just they're the ONLY game that does it.

well, maybe recent games have taken off with it? i don't know, i always run 'em as little furry yappy guys with horns and ADD.

and as you jump from the ledge hanging from the rope, the GM suddenly spouts the most awful of words "Throw either a use Rope check or a dexterity check DC 15"

Meh I was a shadow dancer by then, dex checks were an afterthought by then. Favorite skill that got alot of use: Hide in plain sight! Unerved the npc's so much.
