Don't let her cute looks fool you. Her magic powers make her a scary witch. She is many years old, much like Char, however she is not to be taken lightly. When she was young she was swiftly abandoned for her strange powers. She soon learned how to use her powers to get what she needed or wanted. Over time once she had better control over her powers she tried to hide them to go into town to try and make friends. However, all it took was one mistake and her magic power showing to make her an outcast. She was bullied and harassed by anyone who saw her and news of her quickly spread and soon no one wanted anything to do with her. And over time her hated and anger grew. She soon found a book of dark and forbidden magic that she could use. She smirked and began to use to seek revenge, it started with massive plant growth in the town, like roots breaking roads or plants growing in places it shouldn't. But that was only the beginning, soon she found she could use vines to ensnare people and drain their life force. Which is how she stays so young by stealing other's life force. She intents to destroy anyone who dares get in her way.

Does getting in her way include offering to take care of her so as to help her feel young...or more importantly, sincerely offering to be her friend? She is after all, the way I see it, a Gothic horror figure a la Phantom of the Opera, just not blatantly looking for love...that she was neglected.
I know.
And Frankenstein's creation is virtually immortal but people still make stories in which it finds some kind of sincere companionship (only for said companion to have to get offed because...)
This isn't Frankenstein but you get my point. Even the Phantom, whose age tends to be maybe hinted to but not really established or defined unlike Christine or Raoul...finds compassion in the end, but regrets all he did.
