I purchased my first (serious) commission! I got it from Cooner, and I just received it in the mail today. Cooner was doing a couple of FIB themed badges, that are printed on transparent thick acrylic plastic.

We had some input on the details.

I have the quarter for size reference, and the card sliding under the piece on the left side, to show the differences in transparencies...

I LOOOOVE Ratchet and Clank (bigger fan than Nekomon). For Those of you who are Ratchet and Clank fans might notice a few things.

So first off, Keto's got the oh-so-awesome N60 gun (R&C3).... He WAS going to have a flux rifle (R&C3), but I decided a 'one-handed' weapon would be more appropriate. I WAS gonna give him the walloper (R&C1), but I wanted something more distinguishable... so the N60 felt like the better choice.

Then... it's hard to read from the photograph, but for my "Planetary Affiliation", it was just a no-brainer to want to have it read: "Veldin of the Solana Galaxy". In case you don't know, Veldin is Ratchet's home planet, in the Solana Galaxy.

Keto is pretty much Ratchet's bouncer. It doesn't say it on the badge, but it's implied. He's Ratchet's very own private bouncer....VERY private.... in almost an ambiguously dirty way. Get your mind out of the gutter!

I don't really expect many people to catch the R&C references, but it's fun to have it out there for any R&C fans out there, to potentially catch these.

I love the badge though.

I must give Cooner credit, not just for the art, but for his professionalism. He was very easy to work with. He's organized, nice, listens carefully to suggestions, means what he says, etc. It was a good experience working with him. So I definitely recommend him!
