This is a creature I am developing called Yemu or Yemi's for plural.
These are nocturnal creatures as their skin is so light skinned they could not venture out into the daylight without burning and they would go blind as their eyes could not handle the brightness. Their skin feels just like a hairless cats would feel. Their skin is always a very pale blue or purple, almost opaque. They have spots that range in various pastel colors but mostly staying along the blue, green purple range. Rarely do you get one with pastel red or orange spots. The fur forms in a mohawk shape on their heads and tips of their tails. The females grow a kind of mane from the front of their shoulders to cover the front of their chests where they usually hold and nuzzle the young to keep them warm as they don't start growing their own until they are about 2 years old. They all have 2-4 brow horns. They have large ears with ridges inside to filter sound so that they can navigate in the dark. The large ridges that look like fur tuffs is actually part of the ear and are posable to help collect more sound. The entire ear can swivel 180 degrees to hear things directly in front of them and directly behind. Some learn to control the ears so that they can swivel them individually and these are the ones that end up being guardians over the rest of the clan. They have large mole like claws as they usually burrow into a cliff face to create a large den for the clan. They are omnivorous. They eat grubs they dig up, small rodents that end up in their den, and use their claws to spear fish, but also eat various roots and berries. They are not generally aggressive unless you threaten someone in their clan.
I plan to somehow in the future get a full ref done of these creatures. Keep a look out for them if you enjoy this.
