That's just it. She's a good conductor. D'you know how that actually works? The physics is interesting...
But in a nutshell, a lightning bolt is massive induced voltage, and voltage tends to travel along the surface of a conductor. She grounded it out through her skin and fur, and most of it didn't pass through her actual body. And it obviously wasn't -zero- effect. Just didn't turn her into crispy bacon like it would have a normal.
