The Cosmosphere space museum in Hutchinson, Kansas is home to the Apollo 13 command module, Odyssey. That’s right, a museum in a tiny midwestern town has one of the most famous space vehicles ever in its collection.
Here is a look through the hatch. Command Module Pilot, Jack Swigert, would have sat in the vacant center couch with mission Commander, Jim Lovell, to his left and Lunar Module Pilot, Fred Haise, to his right.

I never thought, I find a picture like this on this site :D ! I like to read about these things, awesome work what they did back in 70', million hour of work, coding, plan, building, totally new technologies in those years.
About this mission, all my respect for the crew, but don't forget the Aquarius modul what help them out in the darkest hours !

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'm happy I could surprise you with this photo. It's too bad there was no way to bring Aquarius home after performing such a vital role. I'm sure that the crew has never forgotten her. As they said after undocking, "Farewell, Aquarius, and we thank you."
Your photo catched my eye, cause I'm a big fan of the Apollo era, I collected a few e-book about the technical details and they are awesome ! Command-computer (DSKY), the navigation system, etc, etc. And always so interesting to read trough how they invented, tested these "machines" step by step, start with Gemini to Apollo-8 and so on.
I feel that it was the gold-era of the space-exploration, but I looking forward for more things in our times! In these times, my favorite is the Mars Science Laboratory :P.
Yes, you're right about Aquarius !
