Well guys... This is it. The big moment. This is the moment Rohan bonds with the enyo. I hope the payoff has been worth the long wait. But this is only the BEGINNING of the story.

You know what? This is the page I've wanted to get to since starting the comic and I'm EXTREMELY hyped over how it turned out. So heck with it. You guys are getting the page a day early. I don't want to sit on it any longer. <3
I don't think I've ever been quite as pleased with character lineart as I was here. I really had so much fun FINALLY getting to draw the main character as a demon.
I'm not 100% confident on the effects as they might be a bit bright, but I also don't want to tone them down because the brightness is kind of the point. Basically what I'm saying is I hope it's visually pleasing to people and not distracting.
But yes. if I'm able to give people the same feelings as I felt when creating this page, then I've done my job. I really want to give that same sort of "Holy shit" sort of sensation. I hope I succeeded.
Best of all, I only had to draw that wagon in ONE PANEL. *Throws confetti*

EPIC! And it explains much. The other humans who were changed were likely killed to make it so they couldn't object. Then the Enyo bonded with them, before the body had the chance to be too far gone. At least, that's one theory. The other ... is less than pleasant, since it implies the other Enyo actually are pretty darn evil and lowlife. They want to take the scum of the earth and fuse with them to offer power, etc., then take over the mind/merge with it to spread fear, chaos, etc.
if you had paid atention youd realize it was the second of the 2, the enyo specificly sought out the worst of the worst to bond with, they cant kill there house the soul is part of the deal human flesh and soul bound to enyo flesh and soul creates an istral [hope im spelling it right] its just most of the enyo are wicked and dark...what were seing here is what i like to call a drizzt, to those who know the story of the selfsame elf they know his race was the worst of the worst, the lowest of the low and the most evil of the evil, but he chose to rise above that dispite all things showing that this would be the hard road to walk, he walked it anyway, faced hardship, bigotry, heartbreak, and pain because of it but he walked that road dispite it...so too our little enyo, it nearly died because it refused to be wicked like the others...and now its found the perfect host.
I figured the latter was likely the closer of the two, so thanks for your input on the matter. You raise some valid points. And yes, Drizzt was an interesting character, though if I may point out, it was Lolth who was responsible for making them the way that they are over generations of isolation and indoctrination. They could have been an entirely different race, had they never discovered the fallen goddess.
hard to say, even the youngest of drow seemed inclined towords dark persuits, only drizzt and his father ever showed any inclination towords doing good for good's sake, and both eventualy paid for it with there lives [spoiler warning there] his father is the one i feel worst for knowing the lore of the universe as well as i do...since he died beholden to no god he will spend eternity confined to the grey, a realm not unlike limbo...peacefull but lacking for pasion and joy.
given that the story is being told from our main demons perspective and he refers to the person that was rohan was as himself for the most part i think its safe to say the merger has mostly left him as the primary entity, but from the text this is purely personality/identity...flesh heart and soul are istral now, theres no human left, stressing that this is a one way change, he cant go back...ever even death might not reverse it.
