So, after some pestering by a friend of mine, I decided to finally put together a fursona. Ironically a task that was a bit out of my comfort zone as I leaned a bit more on symbolism then is normal with me. Attached below is a rough biosheet, more stuff will probably be added on later.
Name: Psion (pronounced SIGH-on, NOT Pie-Son damn gits!)
Gender: Male
Species: Brown Bear/American Grizzly
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 479 lbs
Hair: Chestnut brown, worn short and straight
Eyes: Blue
Appearance: A fat hyper-pear with a traditional brown pelt and limbs that end in five digit appendages. Weight is primary concentrated in his hips and a large, wobbly rump. Torso is thick and stocky, has a gut but the lion’s share of his weight is below the waist.
Outfit: Wears a black body suit with green boots and gloves and a white coat worn over his suit. Green smart glass glasses complete the ensemble. The inside of his coat is lined with pockets for gadgets and other high-tech tools.
Personality: Quiet, shy, soft-spoken, and slow to trust yet also studious, observant, and fiercely passionate and loyal to those that earn his trust. Though he generally dislikes violence, he accepts that it is sometimes necessary to continue his research and keep it from being misused. Loves to eat and see how much he can consume, gradually getting into gaining and stretching his capacity.
Gadgets:
Psion’s Universal Tool Kit: A small, deceptively spacious, hexagon-shaped box that contains a variety of modular tool heads and drive motors that can be assembled into virtually any power tool Psion needs for most technical work.
Sensor Ball: A floating, semi-autonomous hovering drone that can be programmed to fly ahead of Psion and record observations with a near-omniscient array of sensors. Programmed to interface remotely with both his smart glasses and Pocket-Comp, allowing him to observe and analyze dangerous phenomena from a safe distance.
Null-Space Med-Kit: A small gunmetal gray hip-pouch that is actually a portal to a subspace medical warehouse and a fully automated pharmacy. Can produce a variety of medical supplies such as bandages and sterilization solutions on demand and synthesize a dizzying variety of pharmaceuticals from basic painkillers to weight-gain supplements and transformation serums in under an hour.
Micro-Fabricator: A small metal briefcase-shaped object with a strap that can be worn over Psion’s shoulder, the Micro-Fabricator contains a full suite of computer-controlled machining equipment capable of milling and shaping most metals and plastics as well as interface ports for Psion’s Pocket-Comp. Needs to be fed a supply of materials and requires anywhere from several minutes to an hour for assembly depending on the complexity of the item in question. Object being assembled also cannot be bigger then the micro-fabricator itself.
Pocket-Comp: A handheld computer and communications device with incredible calculating and interfacing capabilities; contains a variety of sensors and assessment apparatus.
Multi-Blaster: A modulating energy pistol that can be configured to a variety of beam types and wavelengths. Primary left on a stun setting but can kill virtually any lifeform in existence if Psion has enough time to assess his target and a few minutes to modulate the beam.
The Insatiable Curiosity:
Psion explores the galaxy aboard his personal starship the Insatiable Curiosity, a ship purpose-built for exploring and cataloging the unknown wonders of the universe. While small and somewhat lacking in both armament and cargo capacity, the Insatiable Curiosity makes up for its shortcomings with speed, powerful sensors, a fully stocked workshop and medical bay, and a compact laboratory capable of running a variety of biological and chemical experiments.
In addition to scientific facilities, the Insatiable includes ample living space and life support for Psion and five guests with both living quarters and food production designed to accommodate a variety of girths, appetites, and diet peculiarities. For Psion’s less scientifically inclined traveling companions, the living quarters includes a full-body Virtual Reality entertainment system with an exhaustive library of games and the ship's database includes a wide variety of popular fiction in addition to scientific references and journals.
Star Crescent University:
A McKendree cylinder forming an artificial world near the heart of the known universe, the Star Crescent University is a polytechnic institute dedicated to scientific research and technical education with colleges covering the gamut from engineering and physical sciences to biology and medicine. In addition to hosting scientists and students from countless planets in the known universe, the SCU sponsors numerous explorers like Psion to observe and catalog the many mysteries of the universe. While a pillar of hope and scientific achievement, it is also a hotbed for academic politics and political conspiracies.
