Enlightenment and truth can only be experienced in peace of mind. If we seek to follow truth, we have to unfollow mind. Because we normally do not live in peace of mind, we seek to keep our consciousness filled by society, but this way, we can't experience peace of mind, so we have to turn away from society if we seek enlightenment. Society and the mind is not our true nature, enlightenment and peace of mind is everyone's true nature. Nobody is born in peace of mind, but we can learn to find it by meditation. Nirvana is inside everyone and it is the truth of all spiritual paths.
