I've been a player in the  FHL for 3 seasons now and I wanted to get a little something to show my support for the team I play for, the Saskatoon Prairie Dogs, who are currently fighting on through the playoffs for the first time in.. ever? I don't think they've ever been in the playoffs before, not while I've been playing for the team anyway. As of right now it's not looking great, we're down 3-1 in the series of our current round against the St.Louis Spirits, but just to be able to participate in my first playoff run is an achievement in itself, and I've had a pretty stellar season to boot, probably my best one yet (depending how you look at it, I've been one of the better defencemen of this current season, not "Defenceman of the Season" levels, but I'm up there with a high +/- ratio and a lot of assisted goals to my name).

The team have had a pretty good season overall, we were in the top 3 for most of the season (even chasing for the top spot for much of it) after having a very strong start, but we seemed to falter a little towards the end and came 5th overall in the league, which when you look at how well Saskatoon have done in previous seasons, it's been their best finish yet, so I'm proud of the team for getting to where they are, and I just hope the next season is even better for them, especially if I stay with the team and don't get drafted over to another, that is, haha.
