That may be due to the Mexican mole lizard's natural round, stout shapes, but he looks cute! I also like the look of the ventral scales and rolls. Tha top hat, while looking a bi too fla to my taste, stil looks very handsome, especially wi that shiny look. Even that background wi the fade between black-on-white to white-on-black, looks interesting.
My only problem is that I had a bit of difficulty interpreting the couls, even wi the subtle shading.
