Well, look at it this way...
The blood elves managed to give up their dependancy on the Naru and go back fully to the light. Tauren out of all the other races of the Horde are the most spiritualist. Tauren could have been calling on the Light all this time with their Shamans, and never have realized it.
At least, it makes more sense then the Alliance accepting those Demon Worgen into their fold.

If it was the basic worgen, I would agree with that sentiment, but these are humans cursed with lycanthropy. Considering that the people of Gilneas have been staunch allies of the alliance in the past (particularly with Varian Wrynn's father), it's very plausible to see the Alliance showing Sympathy for their cause of finding a cure, especially given that it's been hinted that Night Elves may have some past connection with the Worgen in general.
It goes something along the line that tauren worship the Earth Mother. They learned druidism from the night elves, and accept it as a worship of the aspects of the moon, which is one eye of the earth Mother. Now apparently some Tauren came to the conclusion that everything should be balanced, so hey, let's go worship the sun (which is the other eye) for a balanced diet of motherworship, presto, light worshipping Tauren paladins and priests.
You know that American family Insurance prints up the Watchtower. I know, I accidentally stumbled into their print room while they were laying it out at their corporate Headquarters in Sun Prairie. They were NOT amused at what I saw and quickly hustled me out of the building under escort.

Also: why haven't you posted the "horse drawing improvements?" Many of us artists who are not equine-literate could really use the advice. It's a valuable reference; don't withhold it from the public good.
