I am working on a closed species called Gemites! [Gem as in Gemsbok]

The only way to be able to get premade adopts and make your own stuff is to donate food and supplies to local charities/animal shelters/ soup kitchens/ homeless shelters ect ect ect. I want this to inspire more people to take an active role in helping those that need it.

Of course there are several no no charities like salvation army and peta. nope.

Buy yeah Gemites are underground critters the size of an average human. They are mammals with a mane and short fur. They are born ‘blank’ and crystal clusters begin to grow through their lives. They are mineralvores, so eating crystals and rocks cause points of their bodies to develop crystals.

They naturaly have rough/raw gemstones growing on them, but they can have them cut / carved / smoothed out if they like. It doesn’t hurt them, and it’s like going to a tattoo artist. Gems on them are ‘horns’ / eyes / teeth / claws / and tail clusters. The skull like plate on their heads are super tough minerals to protect them from falling rocks.

Some types or horns and affects (like floating gems) will be ranked from common to legendary. You can ‘purchase’ higher rarity items by donating more food and supplies.

I am still working on details and I will need to refine these guys, but I think this will be fun!
