Until Metal Gear 4 I always thought Raiden would be the one who take on that role. He's bad ass as a ninja, but he's also still a p**** in the sense he always gets owned one way or another. Such as how he's dying after his run-in with Vamp in south america. The homage to Gray Fox is nice, although Raiden cuts his own arm off.
