I think it's natural for artists to doubt themselves about their work, myself included, we put unnecessary pressure on ourselves for no good reason! Trust in your ability, progress is made slowly but is always being made.

and yes ahh definitely! it's what i'm aiming to get over slowly but surely! i've actually been thinking about making the next videos discuss more about the kind of mindset you gotta have in order to NOT SUFFER SO MUCH as an artist ahaha

Ohh that's a great idea, I find listening to people talk while watching them draw very relaxing and calming. It's nice to hear these types of topics, makes it very relatable to other artists. I try to keep my focus on "not making the best" and focus on "any improvement"... Then after the art is complete and I take a look, I always feel more ratified because see that improvement and forgive my errors.. Also I find the always keeping references, and a mirror handy helps a bunch, or taking a look at other artists, like you said.
