A few tips I learnt (Dad is a personal trainer). Skimmed milk and flavoured water are a godsend, you can still use semi skimmed for cereal, but if you drink milk, go skimmed. And lemon-flavour carbonated water is just as good as real lemonade, with a fraction of the sugar (If you're the type who likes sweet things anyway). Start light and work your way up to more exercise, every other day do light exercises and stretching to let your body relax, and don't be silly with your meals, a biscuit and an apple is not a full meal!
Ahhh, in that case, what you wanna do is set up a schedule of quicker exercises that you can do in a few minutes wherever you may be, and space them out throughout the day.
Liiiiiike...20 sit ups 3 times a day, stuff like that.
That should help you get around the whole 'I can't dedicate all this time to exercising'

This was a good idea, and well executed. I love the slow slip from one small step to the next, almost a transformation. Going from one extreme to the next is why I love sequence art, they are worth more than the sum of their parts. Your attention to background as well was helped highlight the point, fatty foods slowly sneaking into the picture.
Probably my favorite part besides the transformation itself is the evolving expression, the attitude were the subject starts reluctantly to challenge his previous life doctrine against a new one. Would he be fit or fat, to be healthy (attractive?) or happy. He starts from there and then ends up almost euphoric, happy with himself even if others might not be. It feels like there is a lot of conflict and emotion going into his decision which appears to be living more as himself than living as a model for others. That seems particularly true in part 3 where he seems comfortable in his decision to let go even in public spaces, something I imagine took a bit of time to work up to.
