This is the drawing that defeated my comic. Yesterday, I sat myself down with my sketchbook and made myself figure it out.
I don't feel any more inclined to do the comic, but I feel less defeated.

Hah, this is kind of funny I think. It's good to see you drawing again. Anyhow, I think it would be neat to do a comic but it would take for to much time for me so I wouldn't bother to make one. I'm lazy like that. Anyhow, I can't wait to see more of your art soon, keep up the good work
That's exactly what happened though. I had eight pages of script, and then on the second page I reach a panel that defeats me.
In this case it was of this guy with the espressomaker and another guy talking on a porch, as two men load stuff into the house.
Another problem I have is that I've only learned to draw kangaroos. I need to get around that somehow.

I learned to draw wolves, in a way, when I was drawing something for gagi. (This didn't help my ability to draw water or action though). I mostly go through the same sort of steps you described. I know that, given one animal at a time, I can spend a bit of time drawing the animal off photos and people in poses to eventually come up with something good.
To do my comic though, every character except one would not be a kangaroo, it would have to be a different, appropriate animal. If I pick something like a fox or a tiger too, people have high standards.
I just drew the first page of the comic. I want to get as much down as possible, so I just made the art style super simple. (super lazy)
