DARK PAST WARNING DX

Exiled as a child because the people in her hometown were unfairly afraid of her magic, she grew up alone in a deep, dark forest. The only light in its depths were the glowing streams and plants, and she had to fight for survival from predators that would have viewed her as little more than a snack. Little by little, she went insane from loneliness and the dark, her color fading away until she was a little more than a shell. Her magic shifted with her mental state, and her control over plants started working on its own, taking over the forest. All she wanted was a friend... travelers started to disappear, being drawn into the forest and then getting lost. Her magic made the forest into an inescapable labyrinth, just because she wanted to be near someone. At this point, her mind was too far gone to realize that the people she was trapping in the forest with her were dying of starvation or by the predators. Eventually, the forest was feared, and no one went near it for fear of the monster inside...the one of their own making.


One of those recolors of the picture I got bored with. I already had the backstory for the character, and I figured that I'd go ahead and do her coloration as well. She is an AU of Anthea, if her story had gone a little differently. I really like how her antlers came out, they seem all crystal-like.
