I'm trying to float a hoary old meme: What would your morphic critters look like as humans? And since I shouldn't ask of others what I'm not willing to do myself, here's my take on some of my better-known characters.

He didn't but he explicitly approved of the death of Silhouette as the natural outcome of her "perversion" and it is heavily implied that he himself has homosexual urges toward Night Owl, and of course we know he never compromises, not even in the face of Armageddon. It is open to interpretation whether or not he'd kill open homosexuals. With Nixon in office for five consecutive terms it was almost certainly illegal. I can't help but wonder if there was ever a cut scene between Kovacs in his day job as a street corner prophet, and the dyke cab driver who patronized the same news stand he bought his copies of "The New Frontiersman" from.
... Wow, you read a lot into that. Particularly Silhouette's death. So yes he referred to it as perverse, but come on, that chick was totally into BDSM, and perverse can be synonymous with kinky. And... Err, well I don't think they ever really delved into it, and have you never heard of two guys having a close friendship without sexual tension? It is actually possible.
It is actually possible, which is why the author took pains to imply Rorschach's feelings. Rorschach disproves of even heterosexual sex, referring to any form of sexuality prohibitively. Even the burned image of Dr Manhattan and Laurie burned into the concrete by a burst of tachyon particles as they teleported to Antarctica. He interpreted that as a pornographic painting of two lovers holding each other, when it was actually created by a being uninterested in sex, and a woman who was sickened beyond belief by the mass carnage around her holding on to each other. A Rorschach test revealing his feelings toward sexuality of any sort, as well as a preoccupation with it.
Alright, I've got the book, but... well what about what he writes in his journal as he's shown ignoring the hooker? "42nd Street: Women's breasts draped across every billboard, every display, littering the sidewalk. Was offered Swedish love and French love... But not American love. American love; like Coke in green glass bottles... They don't make it anymore." That would seem to indicate that he detests sex for sex's sake. And I saw the silhouette you referred to outside Moloch's apartment when Rorschach goes to see him after Ozymandias has killed him. I can't find the part where he comments on the silhouettes.
Human or not, this is some excellent ink work, and the human versions do fit the looks of their morphic counterparts. Your comment on the bottom speaks volumes though, 'I think they look better as morphs... more variety'.
I think that's probably the main appeal to a lot of anthropomorphic artists, the variety that it offers. Weather as a tool for not just drawing the same thing over and over again.. or an an Asopeian method of being able to represent a characters personality traits and behaviors with a species stereotype.
hehe but back to the original point, great artwork as always, and keep up the good work.
