Ok so this is basically the face of my account, or at least the main form used as my sona
The nightlight dragons (A species I made up, if there are other versions then this is the one I made for my sona) is a type of dragon which can illuminate dark areas with either their entire body, or certain parts of their body like eyes or tails, or mane)A reason for this is because their scales can act as solar panels in a way, absorb light during the day and emit it at night, so they'll commonly be seen in the wild in well lit areas, at a certain age they can control whether they glow at night or not. They can vary in sizes form the size of a house cat, to the size of a house. smaller ones are bred and kept as house pets for families. This is because they illuminate enough light for individual rooms, aka a light for children scared of the dark. Larger ones will wander the area doing their own things or act as guides for lost travelers. However this does not mean ALL nightlights are kind and generous dragons, some do fall to greed or are known for mischief, sometimes keeping someone lost longer than they should before they had their fun and let them go home. This also doesn't mean they are passive either, if provoked they WILL fight or blind you so they can run
The design of my sona though is its own design, alot of nightlight dragons come in various shades or white, yellow or even gold( so you could say mine is a hybrid of a nightlight and a western dragon) The normal form I have reaches the size of an adult bobcat. The larger form my sona has can be about the size of a large horse, the anthropomorphic form I can turn into only reaches about five foot one(I would have added that but I still need practice on anthros) When large my eyes will glow faintly, small form they do not (same with anthro unless asked)
Uhm... I think I covered all I wanted to cover? any questions you're free to ask. I might draw what a common nightlight dragon looks like eventually but that'll be awhile.
