I lost my cat yesterday morning to kidney failure and already I miss him so so so much. We only had him for maybe six years and he himself wasn't much older than that. He was really young, as well as our first pet so this is our first loss of one as well which all makes it really hard. But he was very loved and even is being pampered now, my sibling refused to let him be buried in the backyard like my mom's pets used to be when she was little and instead are getting him cremated and got him such a heckin pretty urn like this boi is spoiled af.

He was really vocal and yelled all the time and I'm really going to miss that. Already I tear up realizing the absence of his voice. He was suffering through some health issues for a while now though so I'm happy at least he can rest easy now. That's been really comforting and overall I've been coping pretty okay with the whole thing.
